The name Baby Sistah Cookies is a tribute to the dynamic women who have inspired me in my life. The grandmothers, mothers, aunties, sisters and daughters. The grandmother that raised nine children during the depression; the mother that raised her own children despite being put up for adoption; the aunties that were always there to help; the sister that always looked out for her little brother even though she didn’t like him sometimes; and the daughter whose very life is inspirational alone. This is my way of honoring you. But most of all it is a tribute to my favorite baby sistah, my angel, my hero, my wife Angela who has championed every dream that I’ve had since we’ve been together.
